Singer – Songwriter

His passion in music started at a very young age. As a teenager, DT often participated in local events and competitions. In 2014, he started writing his own song and later founded a band called Humanity Gap. In 2016, his original single, “Will You Say Yes”, earned him a scholarship from The American Voices YES Academy where he along with other participants from other countries attended a full 2-weeks course in Institut Kesenian Jakarta (The Jakarta Art Institute), Indonesia.

Also in 2016, he had an opportunity to work with Miss Grand Indonesia 2016 Committee to produce a music video campaign on human rights. The video, titled “Children of War” was taken in Medan, Indonesia and post-production was done in his own studio. The music video had since won the world attention and earned Indonesia its first ever title in a major international beauty pageant, in which Miss Ariska Putri Pertiwi was crowned as the winner of Miss Grand International 2016. He was recently interviewed by a local radio station, 103.8FM “A” Radio, as the first local singer/songwriter who had produced two English albums and five official music videos in just three years.
